The Weather Channel Background Activity

Change the settings in the app especially how frequent updates are.

The weather channel background activity. Background acivity is leaving apps in the app switcher that may had additional processes running. I just want something that i can open check the weather and close really close. Less of a battery strain and much easier. I d recommend getting rid of this app though and just using like google now for your weather updates.

Backgroubd app refresh is not the same thing as background activity. I doubt you need to know if the weather changed every 30 mins or every hour. Or is there a setting on the weather app itself that would help us. Does anyone know of another weather app that would not use up so much data.

Can t find an answer. Background app refresh only occurs when connected to wifi and i believe connected to a power source. Apple naming background app refresh as such is really confusing. The weather channel app uses alot of background data if i restrict background data it says it may cause an app to stop working when only mobile available.
